Winnie and Zack’s engagement session was inspired by the whimsical and romantic vibe of Moonrise Kingdom, and I was thrilled to bring their vision to life. We’ve been friends since high school, and have worked together before, and every time is a blast. They are so natural in front of the camera, making my job easy with their effortless connection and undeniable chemistry. You can really feel how much they love each other, and it’s always such a joy to capture that.

For this shoot, we headed to DePauw Nature Park, one of my favorite locations. The park’s otherworldly landscapes—with its towering trees, winding trails, and hidden spots—set the perfect tone for their Moonrise Kingdom-inspired theme. The vintage vibes, playful energy, and warm moments between Winnie and Zack created such a unique and memorable session.
