Sam and Auna’s wedding at Avon Gardens in Avon, Indiana was such a special day, and it holds a special place in my heart because it was where I shot my very first wedding as a second shooter. From the start, it was clear that Sam and Auna were a perfect match. They had such a vibrant and fun energy that really set the tone for their celebration. Their wedding had a 60s/70s inspired vibe that was full of life, from the music to the style, making it an incredibly unique and memorable day.

Auna’s Priscilla Presley-inspired updo was absolutely stunning—seriously, to die for—and it perfectly captured the retro feel of the wedding. She looked incredible, and Sam couldn’t take his eyes off her. Even though it was a hot day, the couple kept their spirits high, and the love between them was evident in every moment.

Just as the ceremony ended, the skies opened up, and a rainstorm rolled in—talk about perfect timing! It couldn’t have been more cinematic. The rain didn’t put a damper on the celebration, though. Everyone moved inside to continue the fun, and the energy stayed high the entire time. From the vibrant decor to the joyful dancing, Sam and Auna’s wedding was truly one for the books.
